Requirements: Order No#: PWR889 Job Title: Project Coordinator Start Date: 16-AUG-2010 End Date:13-FEB-2011 Location: Groton, CT Meeting Type: In Person Meeting Over Time Allowed: Yes 117 classifications: Business As Usual Overview The Project Coordinator (PC) works closely with the GCMC Outsourcing Team, directly supporting the outsourcing efforts by coordinating all activities related to onboarding resources. Objectives The major objectives of the PC are: • Coordinate procurement of required hardware and accessories for external resources so that they can complete their business objectives. • Understand the remit, process and deliverables required for GCMC outsourcing and provide any support required to ensure that timelines, program objectives and requirements are achieved • Assist in the organization and preparation of meetings Role Responsibilities The Project Coordinator will be expected to: • Submit access requests for new external resources. • Submit and manage laptop and remote access requests for existing external resources. • Coordinate meetings, routine and adhoc: • Schedule meetings • Assist in collecting and setting agendas • Produce meeting minutes • Track actions • Track issues • Maintain external vendor distribution lists and send communications as appropriate. • Maintain and track status of laptop requests, system access, training completion for external resources. OVERTIME MAY BE NEEDED FOR THIS ROLE; NO TRAVEL; MUST HAVE AT LEAST 5 YEARS OVERALL EXPERIENCE.MUST HAVE ATTENTION TO DETAIL, BE ABLE TO WORK INDEPENDENTLY AND WORK IN A SOMETIMES NEBULOUS POSITION.INITIAL 6 MONTH ASSIGNMENT THAT COULD GO UP TO 1 YEAR IN LENGTH.
